La grue m'a raconté…
L'autre
jour, un loup m'a demandé un service. Il m'a dit qu'il me donnerait un cadeau
si je pouvais lui retirer un os coincé dans sa gorge. J'ai enfoncé mon bec, et
presque toute ma tête, dans ses mâchoires profondes et sombres et j'ai retiré
l'os.
Quand
j'ai réclamé le cadeau, le loup m'a dit que ma récompense était qu’il ne m’a
pas arraché la tête pendant qu’elle était dans sa gueule!
The crane told me…
The other day a
wolf asked me for a favour. He said he’d give me a prize if I could pull out a
bone stuck in his throat. So I pushed my beak, and most of my head, down his
deep dark jaws and pulled out the bone.
When I asked for my
reward, the wolf said my gift was that he didn’t snap my head off when it was
in his mouth!
